Uh, they were paying Chavis 1.4?

A$M will pay whatever it takes

they just dropped 500 million into their football stadium.

LSU dropped 65 million and another 100 or so in our renovations...

pretty sure they have doubled our investments

Too bad they haven’t doubled their wins against us lately.

It’s funny how the target has moved from “Why is A&M going after Fisher, no way he leaves” to “Well he’s just going to bring all his shitty assistants”

The target hasn’t moved an inch, considering Jimbo’s current historically bad season is a direct result of decisions he’s made with his staff. I’ve been a pretty vocal critic of Fisher for two years now. To hire Jimbo has always meant you give him Saban level control and commitment, whether the school was LSU or aTm my position hasn’t changed that he isn’t worth that.

I’ll admit I was skeptical a week ago he would make this move, but I didn’t realize just how bad things had gotten between he and the power brokers at FSU.

well I think we have won 7 in a row...

eventually, they are going to get us, and it will late in the season which will sting...

the bottom line is the SEC West is impressive...top to bottom the toughest there is in all of CFB...

A&M is one the big boys though they haven't won big, it's a matter of time...with the right coach...

Actually, they're already paying top dollar for their assistants. The linked article is from 12/16, so while Chavis may no longer be the single, highest paid asst coach, he's still being paid top dollar (as is the rest of their staff).
