You had me until you said LSU has better looking chicks. That’s a tie. Both schools have gorgeous women.

As a Bama fan I love this concept, but Vandy has completely dispelled it against both Bama and LSU in each of the past two seasons.

ETA: Similar echelon dissolvers in the same timeframe: Georgia Tech, Indiana, SMU to an extent, and UVA.

maybe for a individual recruit here or there, but not at the macro level.

If LSU and ole miss offer the same player the same money, LSU has the advantage.

And you know that

Kiffin had to beg students to go to games this year when they were undefeated. you think he has to do that at LSU?

Lane is the type of guy who seems like he wants to do something that’s never been done or in OM’s case hasn’t been done since Archie Manning was a boy. He also knows one of his mentors and a former colleague have already done it here. USC was a different pull because it was his dream job.

However if he’s offered his hubris and desire to be at the top is going to make him think hard.

I guess he’s my top college guy. He will probably always have maturity issues but he can coach an offense and QB with the best of them. We need to give him a better DC than Golding or even Baker.

Dream:
HC- Lane
DC- Aranda

Lane dos es not seem that guy at all lol. Lane seems like the guy who wants to win at all costs. He’ll come to LSU if he thinks it will help him win more games. He was complaining during an interview about Ole Miss NIL. He mentioned how LSU has paid for a good roster and “that’s what you have to do to win.” If he thinks LSU or anyone else can take away all those money issues he’ll leave. He doesn’t want to recruit. He doesn’t want to manage the roster he wants to coach thats exactly the guy we want. He has ties with Austin Thomas too…

Lane has said he doesn’t care to have a big job anymore. He’s had one before.

He’s always said the only programs he would consider (if the HC job would open) are LSU and FLA.
