Wasnt he rumored to Tennessee weeks ago? Did they not inquire?

I think they need someone with no baggage now. But leach would be good at Arkansas.

Leach would light it up in the SEC with the recruits he would get. I think most Presidents are scared of his strong personality but I think this would be a homerun hire for 70% of the SEC schools.

Hell no.
We want a modern spread offense not an old Air Raid offense. Plus we need an A+ recruiter.
Norvell is a better fit

If I were ATM I'd go all in for Leach. His style fits Texas high school football and he's had success with far less resources at TTU.

The state of Texas owes him money still...hes not going back there

Would love to see Leach as the Head Hog. Never would be a dull press conference!

Feldman on Twitter saying Currie was intrigued with him until he found out Leach sued his former employer..
Pretty much, petty shite

Leach is a great fit at Arky.
Air raid guru, that also likes to run the ball too. And he can recruit hidden gems in Texas.
Add a good SEC-caliber DC, raise the skull & crossbones flag and set sail!

Can you just close your eyes and imagine Leach and Miles both in the SEC. Now that would be entertainment. TV ratings would be off the charts. I'm not saying that I am advocating for it. Just making a mistake and thinking out loud.

A pirate taking over tFlagship seems like a perfect fit

If the rumors of Norvell having some baggage that scared the rest of the SEC schools away are true then it makes him a better hire. Leach is better then Norvell because he is a prove HC that would likely never leave. While Norvell would be getting better offers if he does good . You guys have the money to get s proven guy like leach . Why hire a guy that could be using you as a steppingstone and could be a failure.

You don't seem to know much about Norvell. Leach is more likely to use us as a stepping stone even at 56 than Norvell.

Norvell wouldn't use us as stepping stone for personal reasons, never mind the fact that we've never been used as one in our history.
