maybe, just maybe, at least i'm hoping ckd is as fed up with these fat slow cant get to a second level block to save their lives o linemen as we are. i mean these guys had such slow feet that even on regular run of the mill run plays, the rb's were getting hit behind the line of scrimmage, smh...

can we conjure up the ghost of homer smith

oof... a linebacker and db hitting rw at the same time. seems like an automatic fumble to me. i'm thinking use him as the second man on a hook-n-ladder or is it hook-n-lateral. either one, it seems the safest way to get him the ball. if he gets lit up and fumbles, its a big chance the ball goes out of bounds and you retain possession.

when bama gets a lead is when grubb yanks out his handy dandy super magical mr gadget play book and starts salivating. so putting a ranked team away is a kool, yet seldom seen concept for this staff.

for all the yelling at the tv when rw drops another pass that ive done this season. just yesterday it dawned on me. rw is still just a kid, this shouldve been his freshman year. regardless of who all was involved in his decision to enter a year early, i'm of the opinion it didnt do him any favors, as far as his play on the field

hasnt bama been the number 1 viewed team basically all year?

not criticizing your thought. just curious if play-action is valid when the defense knows you cant run to begin with?

hmm... suppose the writer didnt catch the fact that both osu and oregon beat themselves against iu. i'd go so far to say that even penn st beat themselves against iu. but hey, lets sick with bama just lucked into the victory at oklahoma.

maybe i'm wrong but wasnt osu without hartline, their oc against iu? didnt ryan day call plays in that game?

i remember the 2000 o line. actually pancake posse was pretty accurate. eating pancakes was apparently all they were good at, they sure couldnt block.

com'on man, their football success age is akin to a toddler. let'em toddle.
re: CFP Committee needs to scrap this current format.

the same committee that just put 2 g5 teams in the cfp also tells the big boys not to schedule any ooc team that might beat them.
personally i wish the g5's would have their own cfp. it would benefit both the g5 and football fans. a g5 would be national champ every year and football fans would get more football. not to mention g5's getting more tv money.

i'm thinking that if doud got any faster, he'd whiff on the ball completely given the number of shanks hes had. he'd end up looking like one of the rocketts doing a high leg kick.

lol, i'm about to tell on myself. just a few days ago, i literally told my brother that part of ckd's problems are his soft voice. his actual voice is soft. where sabans voice has an edge to it, deboers has no edge, its just soft.
i actually like ckd and hope he has an extended run at bama. if he can traverse the bama learning curve, i do believe it will be worth it for him and us.

i think dear will be a very good back. sadly, i'm thinking the offensive coaching staff's ability to coach up players is lacking. but i' also looking forward to seeing how quickly EC fits in. but until the oline issues are fixed, not even a derrick henry could be successful.
