i'll be surprised if bama doesnt have close to 150 yards in penalties while puke orange gets a pass on most of theirs.

i disagree. #5 was not a starter last year. every oc and qb we've played has picked on him for a reason. he's easy to get either a completion or penalty on.

covert, i get exactly what you're saying. i think the major issue for fans is we can;t reconcile what we expected for pass d against what we actually have. we also are still neck deep in a saban/smart/pruett d that thrived on 3 n outs and can't reconcile, lol i used it twice, those d's against limiting points rather than yards. does that compute?

as i told my brother during the game. bama's offense played scared. uga's defense was in grubbs and russell's heads before the game ever started.

grubb had bama playing prevent offense. as what to often happens with prevent defense, it did the opposite.

on one hand, uga's best offensive position was 3rd and long, it was basically an automatic 1st down and often much more.

on the other hand, the number one scoring offense in the country, scoring over 50 points a game, was held to 20 points.

hmm... not sure how to split being pissed and encouraged.

during the miami/clemson game, they showed a piece about michael irving buying the miami rb fletcher's mom an rv. is this where cfb really is now? no doubt irving is a miami booster and he can just buy a really nice rv for a players mom?

i'm no x's & o's guy, at all. but i'm thinking 2 areas.

bama's db's vs their wr's/te's. i feel like this is the first game where bama's db's have to be on point or they'll get lit up with cowbell u scoring regularly.

bama's ol has to give kr12 time in the pocket and lanes for the rb's to work.
