scientology

And apparently, he is comfortable at a smaller school because he can't take big time criticisim. He stresses enough after a loss by himself. I can respect that if true.

He's not leaving Boise. He has family concerns that make Boise a stable place for him to be. That is more important than job stepping for him right now.

He has been considered but since his name is Petersen and not Peterson nobody can ever get in touch with the guy.

He's got a reputation as a little bit of a whiner. He's always breaking the university's balls to try to spend BCS conference money. Little man syndrome - here's a suggestion - Boise should try to get into the Pac-10. Let's see how well they do with a BCS conference schedule.

Play-calling at Boise is more democratic than at most other programs. All three of the backup quarterbacks wear headphones and are free to make suggestions. "The whole fourth quarter," says Tharp, "we kept agitating for Statue." The Broncos were going to run it with 5:35 left, but Oklahoma called timeout and Harsin went to another play.

I think he has a child that has special needs and he and his family like to stay out of the limelight

I remember reading a blog entry one time about Petersen and Scientology and someone had posted a picture of the Scientology Center in Boise and it was in a run down buidling. The point being this was not the kind of place the most visible guy in town would be spending his free time.

here it is:
