He got more money, more resources, better quality of life, private jet 24/7,, etc.
Sounds like he just got a much better gig. he woulda been dumb to stay in the sec making less money.

USC is in South Central Los Angeles and is near Watts. Plus, LA is the most plastic, pretentious city in the US, surrounded by the most arrogant self-important elitists you can collect in one city. Riley can contemplate his decision to leave OU while he’s sitting in traffic for hours a day. It’ll be a big difference from West Texas and Muleshoe High School.

I really can’t blame the guy if that’s his goal. USC a much easier route than the SEC West if your goal is to be an NFL coach in 5 years.
The media out there will shine his shoes daily if he’s able to rebuild USC. That doesn’t happen in the SEC.

LSU is near South Baton Rouge. Have you been outside the north gate of LSU lately? I am pretty sure there is more crime right outside the LSU campus than there is outside of USCs. Either way, Riley is not spending time in south Baton Rouge or watts. So it is irrelevant.
