I'm done fighting the O battle, just going to let it play out and hope the admin. isn't nearly as short sighted as many of our fans seem to be
Same here. Getting too frustrating.

There is no reason to even waste personal energy talking about any of this until the regular season is in the books, treat it as entertainment only and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
It's not entertainment, it's madness.
Oh my God! Coach O said "one team, one heartbeat"! He's one of us! Give that man the job!

Knock yourself out then.
Report back on the 6th with how much your efforts have affected the coaching search.

So fan reaction had no effect on what happened to Miles either last year or this year?

If only beating Bama is all that matters
It's not about that. I think most people are insinuating that Bama is LSU's toughest test and if LSU can beat Bama there's reason to believe LSU can win out.
If CEO goes undefeated and wins the SECCG let CEO be a CEO HC ala Dabo, etc.

fan reaction =/= the TD coaching changes board
This place represents a very vocal minority of the fanbase as a whole, in fact the Miles situation proves that. If this board was a good barometer he would have been fired about 8 times in his 12 year stint.

While a small sample size, it mimics the fan dynamics fairly well. We had a large contingent of Miles supporters until the bitter end. I'd reckon that was the same for the casual fans.

Sure, it'd prove he can have success when all the pieces are in place. However, we have no proof he can get the right pieces in place when some of them leave
Your concern about Orgeron is with recruiting?

Coaches, you idiot.

You can't compare Miles and Orgeron.
No you can't.
One was 3-21 in the SEC and arguably the worst coach in their program history and the other was 62-28 and arguably the most successful.

I'll watch this one from a safe distance.

Auburn still has to lose. People act like we control our own destiny.
