If you are referring to his interracial marriage I agree there are people who would not want him to get the job because of their own bigotry which is shameful. The guy is a stand up guy and a leader and great coach and it took him forever to get a shot. I for one would be very happy to see Charlie Strong as our coach. There may be better resumes but if CS got hired I wouldn't worry a bit.

THats only part of the reason.....Its shameful if that is the determining factor. The guy can coach and deserves a shot at the big time somewhere.

Muschamp was our target last year when Meyer stepped down originally. Foley didn't know Strong would be so successful, and he just kept with his original thought of Muschamp. I think Foley wants new blood in Gainesville.
