I love how people always retcon the Saban hire as some risk on an unknown. He had already been linked with nfl jobs and his msu team had just knocked off a #1 ohio state. I was only 14 at the time but loved the hire.

Pavia and Stowers aren’t the only ones who came over from NMSU. Jerry Kill was the HC and is now in a GM type role and Tim Beck is the OC. Lea was on the hot seat before they all arrived.

Kill and pavia too. They have more to do with it than Clark lea. He sits on the sidelines with his headset up the entire time. He doesn't even talk.
