That just proves my point even further. Freeze obviously definitely didn't inherit a winner.

Plus, when O took over, Cutcliffe had just gone 44-29 the previous 6 years. And shared the West in 2003 with Eli.

Not great, but definitely not a 'loser'.

It would be O. People trying to discredit his recruiting are just biased because they don't want him as coach. He's a top 3 recruiter in the country especially walking through high schools with LSU on his shirt. His 2 full classes at Ole Miss were 16 and 19 which were the highest they ever finished until Nkemdiche class that was only made possible because his brother was already at Ole Miss

I actually remember seeing camp footage of him working with Rashard Robinson on technique, read he really wanted him at FSU.

the year before Freeze was hired Ole Miss went 2-10 amd 0-8 in SEC play

Freeze is a great recruiter especially when the boosters open their pockets but who taught Freeze along with Frank Wilson how to recruit
