I don't have a lot of analysis but people were talking crap about that doofus since 2003 here.

Why would we ever want to run it back on that has been? A&M hasn't met a significant milestone since he has been there. His FL State program went to crap after Jameis.

This some good ole boy crap if this the the best Woodard could do. Not to mention people talking about keeping current assistants? LOL the morons who led us to 8-9 the past two years?

This program is all around crap if thats the way this breaks.

You’re really dumb if you think Raymond deserves to be let go and think Jimbo is as bad as O.

Of course Raymond should stay, but making it an absolute seems odd to me. And then 2 other coaches? 3 in total. Just seems odd to force that on a new coach, UNLESS he already agreed to it.

Jimbo would be an incredibly lackluster hire.

And to make matters worse, we’d be doing A&M an unintentional favor

Apparently being friends with Woodard is one of the most profitable things you can do in your career.

No Jimbo for me. He turned the job down when Miles was fired. Besides, he talks too fast.

He didn’t turn it down . The governor stepped in and shut it down

If A&M’s starting QB doesn’t get hurt this yr they would have won the West

A&M’s starting QB isn’t that great either. Let’s not pretend like King is great or anything lol, hell he’s not even “good” at this point

It was inevitable that he’d get hurt, it was predicted by practically everyone in east texas. He’ll inevitably get hurt again when he returns. He’ll never be an elite college QB anyway

Year4 and they still don’t have a QB at A&M, and injuries are not to blame for that

I really hope it’s not Jimbo and would be a bad look for Woodward to just hire his buddy

I see you're argument on jimbo...although im not sure I agree.

But...

that's an idiotic attitude to have. There are a few elite coaches on staff that we couldn't easily replace with better...if at all.

Just because O and his coordinators sucked doesn't mean everyone does.

The melt about jimbo is going to be hilarious if it happens

Relax. It’s going to be fine.

This administration just went through the biggest “bleh” hire in the history of mankind. They’re fine with it.

I’m not of the belief Jimbo was the only target, but even if he was a number 3-5 target, do you really care how much he gets paid? And why?

Exactly. I'm not exactly sure why some people can't, or refuse, to see this. Kellen Mond was as mediocre as they come and in 3 years, Jimbo couldn't find anyone to even challenge him for the starting job and didn't even really develop any guys behind him. Before King, I believe their highest rated QB recruit was James Foster. That's really bad.

I completely get the jimbo fear. But there are concerns for all realistic candidates. Not one of them has no concerns.

The money should not matter. That’s a non issue.
