With all these openings and potential other openings, has anyone figured out which young coach out there will be the next great coach at a FBS program?

Herman.

Seems Fuente was vastly overrated. His time is over before it started.

Does Ohio State fire Urban and hire Herman?

Herman reminds me of Meyers no doubt. Guy can recruit and motivate.

Based off of 2 games? Did you see where that program was before he got the job?

Fuente was a missed field goal away from beating Herman, at Houston, just yesterday. So a 19 year old missing a field goal is the difference between the coach being good and being "vastly overrated"?

This is very dumb. If you had seen m the change Fuente had brought to the culture of Memphis football, you'd be singing another tune.

he's not a good coach anymore because he lost one game against a good team

My concern with Herman is that there is a long list of coaches who succeeded at Houston but failed elsewhere.

Too early to tell on Herman, but he is the coach du jour.

There is?

Briles has done well for himself.
Sumlin has been mediocre at A&M.
And that's it.

Tom Herman, although I'd like to see what Fuente could do at a school that isn't Memphis
