With a jimbo hire ?
He’s a decent coach and sure to be an upgrade but damn I just don’t want his arse back in BR.

I feel we could do so much better

I’d be disappointed, but not at a melt level. Maybe a 3 on a disappointment scale of 10.

I just believe Woody can do better.

He’s won a Natty and beat Saban, who else on the list has that in their resume.

Jimbo would win multiple titles at LSU, especially after Saban retires.

I'd be disappointed but by the time the first game rolled around I'd be fired up

He will win here and compete for SEC championships.

I wouldn't be disappointed , but he’s not my first choice.

I’d be disappointed and have a minor melt just because I think it’s kind of a meh hire. With that said, you can’t argue the guys record and resume. I think I’d get over pretty quickly. Unlike a Napier hire….. I’d be massively disappointed in that.

I wouldn't be disappointed because the Orgeron hire was the lowest I got.

If Napier is the next down from Jimbo, give me Jimbo

I would be ecstatic. Would be a very solid hire.

I mean if that’s the standard then why fire o?

Note: I think it was the right call to fire o.
It just feels like Woodward likes jimbo so he keeps hiring him .
I’d much rather Riley with a awesome d-coordinator . Not 10+ mill but I think that would be much more exciting.
Jimbo is just fricking meh and that’s all it will ever be .

Because a&m doesn’t have the resources to be successful?
I see the recruiting aspect but man, if he’s that damn good it wouldn’t matter where he was .
He’s been very average outside of the Winston championship.

IMO, there's no other name mentioned associated with the LSU HC position that would consistently garner the same national preseason top 7 benefit of the doubt besides Riley or Dabo.

Credibility and respect is what LSU needs at the HC position. He offers that immediately like it or not.

Not me.

I think we have Jimbo fatigue, but Jimbo is not a bad coach, he'll be significantly better than any coach we've had since Saban.

I’d be meh.

High-floor, medium-high ceiling. Les (in his Lesticles days) Miles 2.0.

Les had a clunky outdated pro-style offense which was run-heavy.

Jimbo has a clunky outdated pro-style offense which is pass-heavy.

He’ll bring us some consistent 10-2 seasons, but is that what we’re after?

What about the LSU championship?

What about the highest end of year ranking for the Aggies since the 1930's?

Bowden's last years were: 7-6, 7-6, 9-4, 7-6. Jimbo then went 10-4, 9-4, 12-2, 14-0, 13-1, 10-3, 10-3. He was far more successful than just the Winston championship.

have you looked at their resumes side by side?

i get not being excited about Jimbo, but there is no way you can honestly say O is his equal.
