They are going to offer Fickell, if he says no probably promote Freeman. Hopefully Fickell accepts and we can get Freeman in Baton Rouge

It will be interesting to see if someone like Fickell wants that job after seeing BK leave knowing the hurdles he faced both in recruiting and within the administration.

I think Notre Dame goes after Fickell or Fitzgerald. If that happens, expect Ohio State to enter the Marcus Freeman sweepstakes. Freeman to Ohio State as DC is a natural fit seeing as he is a former Buckeye. Day needs to be on the phone with Freeman like yesterday. But who knows, there might be a dark horse like Urban Meyer that ND is targeting. Urban did say Ohio State and ND were his dream schools.
