Odom is not going to A&M. The fan base would lose their minds. I don't think he recruits well enough for Arkansas to get back on track especially with a marginal NIL program.

I'd honestly stay in Vegas if I were him. What he has done in year 1 is remarkable for that program. They haven't won 8 games since John Robinson was there over 20 years ago.

Why do people think a coach is good because of one good year.Look at Gene Chizic,Larry Coker, Dave Aranda etc.
they took over talented rosters and when that talent was
gone their recuiting ability was their downfall.
look at Odoms record at Missouri ,he couldnt get the job done. Jimbo Fischers program at Fla St. was on the way down
when A@M hired him.
Being a great head coach is much more than just O@Os Its
about accruing talent and hiring great assistants.

Odom put some horrible defenses on the field and he's a below average recruiter. If he does end up as Arkansas' next coach he better bring a staff that can recruit to have any chance of competing.

I don't care what Odom's record is in his first year.
He couldn't or wouldn't recruit while he was at Arkansas and we never had any depth because of it. F him.
