Illinois or Nebraska would make the most sense. Maybe Purdue if their coach gets plucked.

Bert did drastically underachieve at Arkansas but I like that portly bassid. He really does seem like a good dude. I'd like to see Bert end up at Oregon State or Arizona State. I humbly believe a South Alabama type job is beneath him.

Yes, I forgot about Kansas. That would be a good job for the Bertster as well.

He’d probably crawl on broken glass to get a Big Ten job right now.

His tenure at Arkansas was horrifically awful, but maybe a mid to lower tier Big Ten program takes a flier on him because of his record at Wisconsin.

No way Frost turns down Fla job without assurances Nebraska will hire him. Nebraska wants one of their own and it's time. They've been burned too many times outside of the box and had they kept Solich they would have at least remained a relevant program.

If I'm Nebraska I go back to the Big 12, the Big 10 has always been a terrible fit.

Never thought about that... Nebraska would be a great fit for him there.

Kansas makes sense. Decent BBQ, and not too long of a flight to go to Vegas to see his family.

Golden Corral for lunch and dinner and hanging out with his stripper wife watching reality TV.

Mangino probably left some school apparel that should fit him.

Agreed.

The silence around him the last few days has been deafening. Frost to NU is the worst kept secret in the country right now.

Or Charlie Weis....... I think Kansas stays with its sub 300lb coach for the time being.....2 in 18 years is enough

Illinois seems like a logical fit once/if Lovie Smith gets canned. Kansas seems like it would still rely pretty heavily on Texas recruiting where he's burned some bridges.

With the buyout, I could see him taking a year off to do a TV gig or something and spend time with the new kid.
