His Oklahoma State team is currently 3-6 overall, 0-6 in Big 12

ETA: 3-8 now, 0-8 in Big 12 and going to get embarrassed in Boulder next weekend

Reminder of his terrible crimes in the past:

Didn't he apologize for wearing that shirt and bend the knee to the Lords of Wokeness?

He’s the best thing to ever happen to Oklahoma State. It’s like Clemson fans clamoring to fire Dabo

If they finish 3-9, it would be his worst year by far. Not good for a program in the era of realignment & transfer portal

If he has another year like this one in 2025 I do think his seat would get pretty hot

Like Dabo, he will leave on his own terms - probably the minute the seat gets somewhat hot.

He just was in the Big 12 title game last year.

In a 4 year span, Mike Gundy has been producing 1 great season, 2 average seasons, 1 bad season. This is the bad season. He needs to get a decent QB back in Norman and they will contend in the Big 12 again and have a solid shot at the CFP.

He has the same QB that he went to the B12 championship with last year

Gundy has a perpetual contract. It automatically renews unless OSU officially cancels it and that starts a five-year clock. I think his buyout is $25 million.

I personally thought he had earned the right to try to fix things with new coordinators, etc, but some recent statements of his are burning bridges.

I saw something about that from 2020, but wasn’t sure what it meant.
That’s wild

The moment he recruits for OU, he should be fired.

He played in the B12 title game a year ago. See if this trend continues next year but he will have a statue at that school

QB was the big, sore thumb this season. After his experience last season and going through spring and fall as the #1, Bowman should have taken a leap forward. Instead, he has fallen completely on his face.

3-7 now after a 38-13 loss to TCU.
Plenty of articles out today about his job security
