He can be directed to get a better offense philosophy

You realize a philosophy is dictated by available personnel

Not advocating for stoops but do respect his accomplishments

Will Woodward wait if OU goes to the Big 12 championship/playoff?

Revisionist history
Don’t speak without the facts
Mark Stoops was never the head coach at Arizona

Yes, as in Riley. You hire Riley, and he hires the best defensive coordinator in the country. He's a great recruiter. He's a winner. He's relatively young. He's your best shot at a Saban-type dynasty at LSU.

They say it takes a great coach three years to rebuild a program and compete for championships. It’s taken mark 7 and he’s not there year. Ergo, assuming the premise is correct, he’s not a great coach.

LSU fans in this thread sound a lot like Tennessee fans who were too good for Greg Schiano.

Mark Stoops is a great coach, I'd be glad to have him at Auburn if Harsin leaves for Washington.

What makes you think he'd do that? He hasn't hired great defensive coordinators. His entire coaching career has been in the Big 12 minus a couple years at ECU. He played at Texas Tech

Would he even be able to identify the best DC in the country?

I’m sorry but we’ve given him enough time to say yes and not just continue to let it decompose on his desk.

He's a very whelming hire. He's not underwhelming or overwhelming. He's just whelming

Stoops would be a terrible hire

My sentiments exactly. If he were wanted by other programs. He would not still be at UK

I can’t help feeling like it would be a let down. But he'd probably do well here.

. I cannot be convinced that a Matt Campbell or a Mark Stoops can build a Saban-like dynasty at LSU.

No one can. Saban is in a league of his own

29-45 SEC record is enough for me. No F's given what anyone else thinks.

He's not good enough, FYI Tennessee sucks.
