So he's not really a candidate just someone from the LSU side mentioned which we know doesn't mean too much.
I'll stick by my original line of thinking on this one and say no way Kelly is seriously considering a guy he is not familiar with from the old guard of LSU who doesn't like to recruit. I don't doubt you heard this from someone "inside" the athletic department but if you look at it in the context of who Kelly has hired so far and who he has gotten rid of it doesn't make much sense. My guess is that it's someone trying to will that into existence by saying it enough times as opposed to Kelly seriously considering him.
Again, I am not a Brady hater at all. I just don't think it makes sense given what we have seen from Kelly's hires so far.

We're bringing in Joe Brady to coach WRs
I was very reluctant on brady as OC but i would take him as WR Coach in a heartbeat

We get Cortez and this is an all star coaching staff from top to bottom.
I wouldn’t classify Hankton as a an all star hire. He’s solid though.

What would your breakdown be?
He seems to be a good technical coach. Is his recruiting not up to par?

He said it would be an all star staff.
Just curious what knock(s) do you have against Hankton?

Don't think that's the case either:
his all time recruits list is pretty good

Please no!
For all the downvotes… do people want DJ McCarthy back?

Brady is not going from NFL OC to CFB, where he hates recruiting, for a WR coach position.

You don't think brady can recruit receivers to lsu?

The Joe Brady name recruits itself.
College athletes know the name, and know what 2019 was. Whether it was him or not that was the main cause of 2019 recruits will come.
Caleb Williams, Gilbert were guys that Brady got/ nearly got.
Joe Brady is a better recruiter than most think.

Free to go for the All-Star hire! Obviously somebody better than Cortez so who will they be looking at, My Man?

I thought BK had already hired all of the coaches he could hire. NCAA states that a head coach can only have 9 assistant coaches. He has that many now, unless he slides one to an analyst position.

AhC/RB (likely)

That's 8 assuming both steeples and Cooks are on field coaches.

quote:Maybe I should apologize for being so direct. I'm not sure you are even aware of the tTigerHouse Rules. The power to exercise these Rules falls upon the shoulders of only a few posters. They instinctively (I'm told it's an almost magical talent) understand who they are.
Well then that's gonna work out fine for you Dawgs!

None but those chosen few would dare attempt to utilize the tTigerHouse Rules for fear of banishment. The most important of these tenets are:
--Figure out a way to believe that everything you read is simply your ideas transcribed by others - and present it as such.
--Emphasize your humble nature by including some credit to others for your brilliance. Such as using phrases like: "I'm told", "They are saying", and "Hey, I'm just passing along what I was told, you can believe it or not".
--On a slow tRant day it's fine to just conjure something up out of thin air. Always consult with those "silly old shrieking voices" in ye olde noggin first.
That's all the Cliff Notes I'll share at this point. Perhaps I will continue at a later time. So...
If the tTigerHouse Rules apply to you, POJ...you already know it.

You are correct but I believe you can have 10 not 9 on field coaches excluding the HC.

8) LB’s Baker
9) CB’s Raymond

The NCAA must have been asleep.

He’s not that great of a recruiter. Guys like Pickens and Burton were brought in by others. He’s also the weakest coach at UGA and has trouble commanding the wr room.
