What Stage of Grief is Ole Miss?

We got the anger, now we’re coping.
“Golding is the perfect choice, Kiffin had lost the team, blah blah blah.”
How long before Ole Miss fans turn on AD Keith Carter, rightfully or wrongly? They gotta have their pound of flesh.
And for those of you automatically expecting GameDay to be in Oxford next year, not if the Rebs are gawd awful at that point of the season.

I tried to help them last night by playing calling Baton Rouge on the TouchTunes jukebox boxes in Oxford

They’ll turn on Carter during the first playoff game when the team seems lost because they have half a coaching staff.

It would be crazy if you could hack all the juke boxes in the Oxford area Waffle Houses to play “Crying” or “I Can’t Live (if living is without you).

They’re hanging between meltdown and mourning, and Denial won’t stop circling the block.

DABDA
Denial (check--pre signing)
Anger (check--post signing)
Bargaining (check--They are here currently, trying to reason their loss isn't a loss)
Depression
Acceptance
Once they see (a good man like) Golding is simply in over his head as the boss, that'll be the eternal Depression Stage. They'll never move to Acceptance, but more likely, back to Anger.

You just have to search on touch tunes. A friend sent a Twitter post in a group message. Then we started playing it at the blind pig pub until they unplugged it

Depression stage will come first week of playoffs.
But they are eternally in loser denial

Where does the Stockholm Syndrome lie in the stages of grief? Cause they all gonna line up to #STTDB
They know we’re their daddies.
They know we’re their daddies.

Look out of all the fan bases in America. LSU fans as a whole don’t need to bash on a ones grief. We’ve obsessed over Saban for 15 years now.

Bottom line is this……”Acceptance is the key.”
Ole Miss, you are what you are and you will always be what you are. And you know full well what you are.

Somewhere in that area. Have an Ole Miss coworker who hit me up when they won this year. My response literally said, “enjoy it now, cause Kiffin won’t hang around Ole Miss long, a bigger program will call him when they need a coach.” He told me he would be there for years.
So since he wanted to rub the win in my face I messaged him. He was straight anger. Kept calling him a hoe, I was laughing saying how lame of a dig that was and they could do better. He then said, “enjoy him now cause when bama needs a coach he is gone.” Then went on to say how good they will be with Golding. But some of his responses you could tell were just pure anger and hate.

Pretty long way from acceptance, thats for sure.

Most fans are still shell shocked and in complete denial.

One of the dads on my kids basketball team is an ole miss alumni, he started talking to me about it all last night.
I made a comment that the AD at ole miss handled the situation about as poorly as he could.
He went on a rant basically saying the AD played it perfectly, there was nothing else he could have done. There's no way they should have let him coach any further.
I brought up the contract aspect of it, with the way Kiffin had played it. He disputed the facts.
Then he said Golding was the perfect hire.
