Florida stuff has been completely off vibes and random internet “sources” that haven’t been verified, while the LSU sources have consistently been corroborated by substantiated reports by reputable journalists. Does that mean it’s done 100%? No, Kiffin could always have an HBO type walk way at the table, but it seems clear the pens have been placed at the table and the contract freshly printed.

I’ll play nice.
It’s a combo of: The verbiage coming from the Ole Miss AD, which is very obvious it’s not what you’d say if he was staying. Then, several of LSU’s media types, whether it’s On3, radio or newspaper, are saying it’s looking very likely (even though none have dared to use the dreaded “done deal” phrase), plus strong evidence that Nick Saban has been part of the apparatus driving Lane toward LSU from a consultant position and as a friend of Lane.
Then there’s just unlimited anecdotal stuff like Landry Kiffin being at the women’s booster club, real estate transactions, insiders, etc…
