What if no announcements are made this weekend?

Watch this weekend goes by and nothing is done, no announcements are made. Silence, just as it has been from the AD. What would you do?
Obviously that would mean they have an NFL guy locked up and are just waiting for the season to end. That would be my only thought/guess.
