LSU w/ Miles:

What can he do with new OC & an offseason to prepare?

He took Miles' offense, players, and changed one coach and set records almost every week. I wasn't on the O train after Florida. I'll ride this out. Anyting but Miles.

With our road schedule 9 wins is a best case scenario IMO

He could win 9-10 games and people will make excuses

I wish we'd go for more

I'm like you. I think when they failed to get their 2 homerun hires they said hire O cause won't have to commit too much to him if works great if not they will be doing this process again really soon

OP, don't even act like O himself is disliked. Don't even bring that shite here. We all love O and hope he crushes it.

What's great?

I think his ceiling is 9 wins. If he got 10 next year I would be moderately surprised. 11 I would be beyond shocked.

2018 is when I think the wheels are most likely to fall off, when all of the rah-rah stuff gets stale and players want to take the next step.

I will be stoked because that is what every LSU fan should be, doesn't matter who is coaching.

Now does that mean I think Coach Oeaux was the right hire? No still don't feel that way, he is just going to have to prove me wrong which I am praying he does!

Good question.

If Miles won 9 or 10 games he would still be fighting off a lot of the skeptics. It feels like the same results will be held up as some kind of success under Orgeron.

It's not O...it's the fact that we deserve the best. There are a lot of "nice" coaches who "really" wanted to be here...but is that the standard we should use when hiring a coach?
