We also clearly weren't willing to pay for the best, or do what it takes to get the best. You can lure the best here with big dollars and full control, like we did with Saban. None of that was on the table.
Getting 'the best' was not a priority in this coaching search at all.

Based on the Miles experience, no. There will be a faction waiting for him to slip, so they can bring out the knives. And they're willing to wait as long as necessary.

If I were an O supporter from the very beginning and knew he had the goods, I would be ecstatic right now. If you know he's great, all we have to do is wait for the greatness to unfold, right?
