If Texas has a repeat of this year, I think Mac Brown could be retiring early.

What about Kiffen, I dunno but having a record of 8-5 at USC with the amount of talent ole petey brought in just seems unacceptable. I know they might be using the sanction excuse but that has not effected this or next years team as much as it will the following 3.

That said I did not see them this year, so I really do not know what the issue was there.

Maybe not the hot seat, but how effective will he be in a wheelchair. The guy has done a helluva job, but he needs to step down now and let the younger guys take that program to the next level.

He's HC in name only. The younger guys are already running the program they just don't have the title that says so. Doesn't matter how long he stays on, he's just a figurehead.

I agree with the list, and the comment on Schiano. He's safe through the 2012 season unless next year is an epic disaster.

I'm surprised I haven't seen Dabo Swinney on anyone's list. Entering his third season, if Clemson fails to compete for an ACC division / conference championship, he could be on his way out.

*Edit - Swinney's in the first post, lmao...

UGA fans are talking about 10 wins in 2011, and they have some talent coming in. Problem is a lot of off the field issues. If he lays an egg (8 wins or less), I think Richt is toast.

MR has 96 wins in 10 seasons, won the SEC in 05, won the Sugar Bowl in 07, and had 10 wins in 08.

He has 12 L's in the last 2 years with a 6-7 record this season when the East was as weak as it has been in a long time, but the real nail is his 2-8 record vs. Florida.

He may make it with 8 wins, but I think one of those wins better be over Florida.

Hate to be a Debbie downer, but with the expectations that seem to be building with this years team, I think anything short of an SEC championship will bring alot of heat Miles' way.

Don't think the on the field problems with this one. Off the field is the kicker.

No doubt about that. Muschamp knew that if the Longhorns faltered again next year, the entire staff at UT would be dismissed. Odds are they'll rebound but he didn't want to risk it.

I say Chizic and not because of any won-loss record.

I love the mack brown comment. With hios assistant coach payroll and another bad season he's out. Especially with TCU's AD saying Patterson would want that job.

Coaches are raiding his state of recruits. That's a no-no in the SEC. Georgia has three 5* recruits this year. Georgia will at most get two, maybe none. At best, they will get 4 of the top 10 players in Georgia this year. Last year their top recruits went to Tenn and USCw and they only got 4 of the top 10 recruits in the state. In 2009 it was 5 of the top 10 with their top recruit going to FSU. in 2008 their top recruit went to Florida and they signed 5 of their top 10. That's why you started to see the talent decline in UGA this year.

Could the heat be on Riley at Oregon State? Normally I'd say no, but Oregon winning could put the pressure on the Beavs AD.

the rev Houston NUTT.

if he doesn't win 7 or 8 even, his seat will be on fire.

This is why i do not understand how they are pulling some of these recruits late. They do realize that he may not be there a year later right?
