I think most people don’t believe it’s an actual possibility. It’s not likely at all, but it’s more likely than Saban so there’s that.

We're not hiring for Day 1. We're hiring for 8-10 years so we're the dominant program in college football once Saban hangs it up.
There is zero evidence for, and a mountain of evidence against, the prospect that Kiffin can or will last long as a winning and stable coach and program manager at LSU. He's never done that at any of his previous stops.

That's because all of his other jobs were stepping stone jobs on his climb to the top. Ole Miss is another stepping stone Job. The LSU job, on the other hand, would be Kiffin's pinnacle. As there is no where else to go from LSU but down.
