As much as I hate to say it.....for the first two years it would have to be Gus.

Our athletes with his mentality and creativity....damn.

Of course, he may run the ship into the ground after 3 years. Who knows if he could run a program.

Leach would also do some good things, I would think he could keep the program going if he didnt lock anyone in a broom closet.

I also have not accepted that Miles is gone. At this point I would say that he is merely paying his respect to his alma mater
. I am an optimist.

gus would be a step below muschamp.

meaning he has upside but he's not a proven commodity as a head coach. so all the talk about florida taking a gamble, would apply to us as well

Oh, I agree. For that reason alone, I would not want him. But with the talent here, and the flexibility he would have a great short term impact.

As an Arkansas fan, I would not want Mullen in Baton Rouge.

Mullen isn't a very good recruiter, trust me. He didn't pull any recruits at UF and wasn't even involved in the recruitment of our 2 best players on offense while he was there. Meyer was reluctant to put Mullen on the recruiting trail because of his personality, and everyone heard what UM boosters were saying about him.

Realistic:

Dan Mullen. Anybody that can turn around that shite sandwich in Starkville is pretty damn good iyam. Was very helpful in the development of Alex Smith, and Tim Tebow. Noticeable dropoff when he left Florida.

Magical:

Chip Kelly. If we could hire Chip Kelly, I would walk around with a nonstop erection.

None. Professional coaches aren't scared of anyone. They aren't a bunch of little pi$$ies. They are competitive men and want to test themselves against the very best.
Cowards want the easy way out.

This is not about the EASY way out...this is about the pundits and winning in the polls. This is about the SEC West being tougher and tougher.

You think folks like Saban and Chizik and Petrino are not going to show an interest in the hire here...of course, and the one that brings them the most worry will bring them the most resepect.

If no coach worries or frets about other programs, why in the hell was Alabama requested after the bye week by everyone this year....Were those coaches not professionals?
