Alabama was the reigning NC. Wanting extra time to prepare for themn isn't the same as fear. It's respect. And looking for a edge by having a rested team. Who knew that Alabama would be the #4 team in the west this year. Perhaps LSU should have had the week before Auburn off instead.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of college football.

Mullen is getting killed by Ole Miss on the recruiting trail.

Yes it is Starkville, but there is no excuse for the recruiting position State is in right now. 40th in the country compared to Ole Miss at 15.
