SWLA people, what can you tell me about this one?

Other than the politics will eventually take over like it normally does at Sulphur.

We will see if the same old names are sticking around…

He was a bartender at OBs when we were in college. He caught me with a fake ID and instead of bringing me to the cops he just told me to get the frick out of his face.

Appreciate that big dog

Political boosters make that job unattractive.

Hope he can survive it.

Never heard of this guy. You get the feeling this is a job nobody really wants due to the toxicity within the boosters.

They want the glory days but don’t realize things have changed since the 90s

I don’t anticipate a Rustoneque turn around anytime soon there.

Sulphur and Barbe should be the LC version of West Monroe and Neville or Byrd and Captain Shreve…

All I know is I'm sure he's glad to be saved from the mean streets of Welsh like Lance Guidry warned us about

I mean he had them pretty good but All he did was hold over what Richardson built and he didn’t come close to producing the same as Richardson did. Other then that don’t know much about him, he did beat Richardson’s arse this past year though

If there is a young guy that can handle that job, it’ll be CG.

Hope for sulphur footballs sake he can. It's a grind with all the chiefs over there. Boosters act like their Alabama

I remember when I was hanging out in the oil patch back in the 70s and 80s Sulphur was a powerhouse back then too. Hate to hear that political backstabbing is now the norm. Happens a lot at powerhouses in big small towns. Valdosta, Georgia comes to mind.
