It'll be OK, little fella. I hear y'all now think Golding is better than Kiffin anyway.

You ought to be happy for still being in the SEC given you hadn't done diddly in 5 decades - you and the Aggies....2 peas in a pod
Hadn't said much but listening to OM foolishness far too long but enough is enough....I understand the excitement but be somewhat on planet earth.

What makes more sense? $1 million for a rb coach or hiring Pete Golding to be your hc?

It's really funny to see how much you guys praising the guys staying then turn on the ones you find out leaving. You jump on and off the fence. First you say Weiss is a terrible OC, then you say he ran the offense yesterday better than Lane did all year, then you'll go back saying he's horrible once you guys get bounced.
You try to discredit everything your coaches did for you giving you your best season in decades. Smith is a great coach his credentials speak for themselves. He's not fleecing anyone. He's getting paid the same thing Frank was and he's arguably better.
I know it's tough coming to the realization you're taking LSU's has beens while LSU is raiding your roster of all the good players alongside coaches. Pretty hard knowing LSU torpedo'd your season so effortlessly. Maybe if you beg long enough LSU will keep loaning some coaches to you so you might get somewhere!

I remember when everyone in Louisiana was up in arms because LSU was considering paying Nick Saban $1M after 2003.
I wonder how many professors’ salaries would have to be added up to equal just some of these coaches salary?

1. Bragging about having less resources is interesting
2. Wtf do you think you’re going to be paying Frank Wilson?

I thought Ole Miss was flush with cash? Why didn’t the Rebs match our offer?

Not worth it. Just like Kewan Lacy is nowhere near worth 2 million dollars but we are ok jacking up the price for y’all to “win” that battle

Seems like a smart financial decision to pay a position coach 1 million dollars.
Oh no, 1/12th of what we're paying our head coach

That’s what we were paying FW.

Wait, the RB your fan base complained as to why he wasn't a Heisman candidate isn't worth $2 mil? That's actually a steal for a potential Heisman candidate.

I think all of our shitty offensive assistants this year were making $1M
Eta: 2025 salaries:
Frank Wilson, running backs coach: $1.05 million
Joe Sloan, offensive coordinator: $1 million
Cortez Hankton, wide receivers coach/Co-OC: $1 million
Brad Davis, offensive line coach: $930,000

HFS you are one dumb gump you obviously missed the whole point of what landry was getting at.
He stood up there and blasted these huge contracts and buyouts, and those are what Kiffin and the staff are now getting. It’s okay to admit that the Governor was full of crap when he said all of that. He’s a politician (and seems like an idiot, too). He’s okay with forking out the big bucks and agreeing to big buyouts as long as it’s someone that he thinks will do a good job.

I thought Saban was getting $1 mill on the original deal he got in 2000. And that number was the sticking point that made Emmert step in because Joe Dean didn’t wanna pay it.

LSU is painting itself into a corner to where anything short of an undefeated national championship is going to be completely unacceptable to the fanbase.

We were paying our last RB coach 1 mil. Maybe our new one will get some production out of the position
