the majority wanted Miles gone...It has been a roller coaster ride with him...Trust that the administration will hire a good guy, we'll be o.k. if he leaves...I'm not really that worried...We are LSU, we are bigger than one man!!

As long as they don't hire Pelini.

The fact is that LSU has become an institution in the world of college football that largely recruits for itself.
If we bring in a coach who can create a disciplined team with the talent we have here and continue to court that talent in the future, the sky is far from falling

Let's think back to the Ole Piss game a year ago, everyone wanted him gone, nothing has changed as far as clock management...let him have that happen again next year half way through and we'll all be screaming, "We should have let Michigan have him"...this may be a blessing

There's only a handful of coaches that a solid portion of our fans would be happy with hiring.

I'll admit I wanted him gone after the TN game, but I'm a fricking dumbshit, and I'm taking it all back. I really wish he would stay, but I can't blame him for leaving.

And the problem with Pelini is ???
Posted on 1/8/11 at 8:58 pm to Tim
Miles, like most coaches is far from perfect. That said this thing with UM should NOT be settled with a new high dollar contract from LSU
If he wants to stay ....reward him with a one time bonus but this thing should not be about money first.

Because there aren't many coaches out there right now, and I'd rather have Miles than Pelini.

Since Harbaugh is off the market, I'd say Del Rio, Gruden, Patterson, Mullen, and Petersen.
