I also find it sort of incredible that the parents' inclinations are so important. Not incredible as in unbelievable, just odd.
Recruits have lots of people telling them lots of different things. It's a big decision, and they don't know who to trust. So they turn to their parents to help sort it out. When you bought your first car, did you do it your self? Or were you like most people and had your dad come along? Same thing.
As to what it is that Miles does that others don't, I'm not sure. But whatever it is that Miles has it does seem to make a BIG difference to recruits parents and the recruits themselves.

Fair enough. I guess the only way to know if there's an answer to this disagreement is to see what happens if Miles does in fact leave.
I do appreciate your insight, and I'm not a Miles hater. I'm just trying to realistically react to what we see happening here. If he stays, I'll be fine. If he leaves, I certainly won't panic.

If he leaves, I won't be very happy. It's more likely that things will get worse than it is that they will get better or stay equivalent.
In addition, this is a bad year for a transition. We've got a killer recruiting class coming in. I'd hate to see that disrupted.

I have no problem with Miles staying or leaving. My issue is with Crowton. If the only way to get rid of his sorry arse is to get rid of Miles, then so be it. If Miles has the walnuts to send Crowton packing, then he can stay.

Gruden
Jon Gruden is NOT gonna fricking come to LSU.
You might as well say Cowher, because, honestly, I'd rather have him. And HE ain't fricking coming, either.
