LSU quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan

Sloan's tenure as LSU quarterbacks coach has coincided with the development of Jayden Daniels into the Heisman Trophy winner which could bode well for a team looking to bring in a transfer quarterback itself. He also has experience as a playcaller, having served as Louisiana Tech's offensive coordinator before leaving for LSU.

Just one of 10 names in the article, but you can be guaranteed that teams will be calling and from what I've read Sloan will likely shine in interviews. Not saying that's a reason to elevate him, but that is going to be the challenge to keeping him on staff.

I thought being the OC at LSU was better than OC at ND.
Guess not everybody thinks that.

Two things can be true simultaneously even if it looks like they are not. Details make the difference.

The OC job at LSU is better than the OC job at ND when talking about just the job situation with other determining factors.

The OC job at ND may be a better job than the OC job at LSU for an individual when factoring in external things not related to the job of OC itself. Like proximity to family and where you want to live in your sunset years.

Apples to Apples, absolutely is

Other factors (proximity to home, North vs South, etc.) tips the decision

word is that ND paid out the arse to get Denbrock, along with him wanting to go closer to home. When I say, paid out the arse, I'm talking more than whatever TAMU was offering.

They did. The New Mexico State Tim Beck, not the Coastal Tim Beck.

Its called getting in the club…

If LSU lets Sloan get away after The Denbrock departure I will be thoroughly disappointed
