Scott didn't need Morris on the staff to be dreadful.

It's a family tradition.

Every program in Florida except UCF has been an absolute dumpster fire for a while now. I guess all the talent in the state is bailing to out of state teams.

With Jeff Scott out, where does USF look now to fix South Florida football? There's a bunch of good options of well-regarded Group of 5 guys: Do the Bulls go after Jason Candle, Kane Wommack, Todd Monken or maybe Dan Mullen? Our analysis of the USF search:

Watch for Gruden, yes that Gruden, to be invovled. Needs to get back in the game and lives there. Nice quiet rentry relative to anything NFL related. I've got folks telling me there may be mutual interest.

How big of a difference will there be between the Sun Belt and AAC after Cincy, UCF and UH leave?

This radio guy is saying Gruden is a big possibility

BREAKING: Sources tell me the #USF job is Jon Gruden's if he wants it (1A) & a couple Bulls Boosters are ready to write the check now...

FAMU HC Willie Simmons is 1B

Bulls expected to put in a call to Scott Frost too if Gruden declines

Simmons has done a heck of a job at FAMU. He's succeeded in spite of the admin being a mess there

I just figured out this was Fat Bradstard's son. Explains a lot

Well...he hired Morris as an offensive analyst.

And...they each won 4 games.

The Dabo Swinney coaching tree looks like Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree.

Nice landing spot for Tom Herman imo.

Herman's resume is quite impressive. He'd do well at USF.

Scott Frost Reportedly In Contention For New Coaching Job

According to reports out of South Florida, the job could be Jon Gruden's to lose. However, if the Gruden hire doesn't go through, expect Frost to get consideration.

Prime at USF could cause damage.

With the portal he could get his guys, and I’m sure he would be able to recruit the hell out of Florida.
