Folks acting like the Governor shouldn’t have a say are out of touch. LSU ain’t some private school up north, it’s the pride of Louisiana and a state funded university. When you’re talking about fifty something million dollars of buyout money, that is the people’s business.
Landry is doing exactly what he’s supposed to do, making sure the folks spending taxpayer money are held accountable. Y’all complain when politicians don’t get involved, then complain when one actually steps up and protects the state’s interests.
Urban Meyer can talk from the cheap seats all he wants, but this is Louisiana. Our governor isn’t gonna sit back and let our flagship program bleed money and embarrass the state. He’s doing his job plain and simple.
