He's not that dumb, is he?

From today's Advocate:

Or maybe with the Tim Tebow era about to end, Meyer has his sights set on something else: An NFL job.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver has been very public about the idea of hiring Meyer and drafting Tebow. Is it possible Meyer is contemplating an offer and has told his assistants they can come along or look for spots on other college staffs?

Ole Miss will never go after a top tier coach...they are very happy with 6 wins a season.

I think that would be a disaster - However - Jacksonville needs butts in seats and this would accomplish that - their main goal. So I think it could happen...I just don' think the two would be successful in the pro ranks.

Florida Gator fans aren't giving up their seats to go support the Jags even with Meyer and Tebow running the show - that would be a huge mistake on Meyer's part - wait till Dallas job comes open where at least Jones will spend the bucks on players

Can someone explain the obsession by some fans with Del Rio?

I wouldn't even sniff him.

I live in Jacksonville and have not heard Wayne Weaver say anything about hiring Corch.

No way.

I'll keep Les for another season then Meyer after he realizes that the NFL is not for him.

kinda like the second string qb... we love the possibility of something different. JDR was in the running for the job when we hired miles so everyone likes to think we'd have been better off with him/petrino, etc.
