Hire Fedora and the BOD, Alleva and F King will all need to be fired.

It's a fricking huge downgrade from Les Miles.
Who you got then?

LSU needs a contingency plan if the homerun hires are off the table.

Btw, I'm steadfast in my belief that FKA should be fired for his interference last season, leveraging LSU athletics for political capital - and I am no fan of Alleva, but IMO he had his man last year until the above happened.

Point blank dismissing Fedora could be correct, but who you got? Taking over a team on sanctions and winning 10+ games your 4th season is commendable. It took Saban 5 years at MSU to win 10.

Talk to a person who helps staff tonight. Said Guice missed the call on Final play.

Inside the locker room they want O...

They think he's perfect fit...loves the job

Hinted if O gets the job Kiffen is strong possibility .

Also said Alleva really wants Jimbo

Interesting.

He also said Herman to Texas isn't necessarily so...

My take is its fluid...

That's the difference between LSU and Alabama. They wanted the best coach in football, and went and got him

that is completely unaccurate. bama went through several coaches before getting lucky and getting Saban. just as interesting was the number of coaches that turned bama down and that led to them hiring saban. rich rodruquez (sp) was one and there were a couple of others.

in other words, Saban was like bama's fourth choice.

I like Jimbo, but I've cooled a bit on him and his offense. It's good, but not fantastic. I don't see him beating Bama consistently, and let's be honest here, we're hunting a coach to win championships. In order to win championships in the SEC, you HAVE to beat Bama. Consistently. Jimbo can't beat Clemson consistently.

Well the players didn't do him any favors today so they can get over it. Herman is the guy. I don't care if you raise ticket prices or what. We need to lock him up. If we don't get him or Jimbo we could really mess up and end up on the decline.

You can't base your hire on who the players, some of which won't even be here next year, want.

How could the person getting the ball after a timeout miss the call? Of course the players want O, the players always want their coach.

Players almost always fight for their coaches.

Decision should never be based on player input.

over fedora? theres a hundred names, even orgeron. at worst he'd be john blake and we'd have insane talent for the next guy in 3 years. fedora cant even deliver than.

more realistically, if its not fisher or herman than promote aranda. its a gamble but its a gamble thats worth taking.

The San Diego Chargers missed their Superbowl window because Phillip Rivers kept saying he wanted Norv Turner to be his head coach.

If you listen to the fans, you'll be sitting in the stands with them. If you listen to the players, you'll still be sitting in the stands with the fans.

If we could get Jimbo, that would be ideal. People get tired of the name since we've heard it for the past year. Nobody else has tried, because the answer would be "no". I'm sure he's on a lot of those lists, along with Saban, Meyer, Harbaugh etc; guys of course you would hire, but they aren't leaving their current jobs.
For whatever reason, it seems like we (possibly) have the angle on one of them. It'd be idiotic not to pursue that first, very aggressively.

Not stepping into the ring with Texas and Oregon for Herman- that makes perfect sense. Herman is less proven than Jimbo, and it sounds like he will cost more to get. If we get a bidding war between Texas oil money and Oregon Nike money, that's going outside our price range... for a guy who isn't necessarily our first choice (again, I assume Jimbo is).

Fedora as plan B isn't bad.

Players loved mike archer too

I am tempted to whack books myself but chicken can fight his own battles quite effectively

Attacking him is like saying frick You to God

Chicken can ban a user and erase them from the server permanently if he wants to, interested to see how this plays out lol

I didn't ask you.

No offense, but your opinion has very little value to me. I was asking someone else his opinion.
