I have literally no faith in Alleva doing the right thing. He will sit around with his thumb up his arse until all the good choices are gone. We will be stuck with some left over choice, while that piece of shite revels over the savings. As long as he sits on his throne, we are in serious trouble.

Kornblut is probably the most connected sports reporter in the state. I've met him several times and shared a bite a time or two. He's never been known to make shite up.

If PK wasn't so notorious for spoiling so many recruits announcements, I wouldn't believe this report as much. PK and Spurrier are buddies, they play golf together, PK is connected to the program and has been for decades. Still, won't believe anything until they announce a press conference.

If that guy takes a job BEFORE finding out if the LSU is even open he has the dumbest agent in sports.

We aren't gonna wait on him to watch and see if the LSU job opens up so hes either got to shite or get off the pot.
Wouldn't be smart to turn down a job in hopes of being offered one that isn't even open yet and has you down the list from several other coaches.
And why the hell would he want to go to a program that is thinking about firing a coach that has averaged 10 wins a year for 10 years and has 2 SEC championships, a national title and a national runner up during his tenure there?

Maybe because it's a better job than a program that's done jack squat during the same time frame?
Even if he wants the S Car. Job it makes more sense to wait. He'll make more money. What's USC gonna do...hire someone else. If you want the young guy up and comer then it's him or Fuente.
