Kornblut also doesn't give a damn about leaking information. He just wants the scoop. We see it all the time with recruits who want to do the big announcement -- then Kornblut preempts them. Pisses off the recruits and the coaches. Other "insiders" on Rivals and 247 will hold the announcement for the sake of the kid's day in the sun.
Hopefully his impetuousness won't screw the pooch.

South Carolina is probably 2nd only to U$C for confirmed job openings. Anyone not recognizing it as such doesn't know much about college football, or SEC football.

I disagree.
I think Virginia Tech has a better winning tradition than USCe.
