If he leaves, we better be compensated. It would be stupid if we didn't have a buyout built in.

I'm sure he can win there, but honestly I think it would be almost a lateral move from here at ULL.
Especially when there are probably multiple jobs opening up in the SEC, Big 12, CUSA, etc.

If Mullen is indeed taking the PSU job, then I would be very surprised if Miss St. doesn't at least interview Hud.

If Mullen goes to penn st then HUD is 100% to Mississippi State. Freeze is a good coach though, I wouldn't turn my nose up at him. I hope neither of the Mississippi schools get him though.

Southern Miss could get up to around a million. Hud is a Mississippi guy, USM is a better job, all of his recruiting ties are in Mississippi, easier to recruit to USM, etc.
