This is what I'm thinking as well. Also, I think Archie and Glennon want the candidates to sign a contract where they can't leave for another SEC school or something like that. That might have pushed Hud away as well.

Yeah that makes much more sense. I just hope if he leaves, he goes soon so we can recruit.

Hus is going to bring Reed Stringer, Mitch Rodrigue, and one more with him to State.

I know. I just want to be able to put a staff together over here. It sucks that these guys are leaving but instead of sulking, I want to get our shite together.

i expect he'll bring in Dave Saunders as well. The State defensive staff will pretty much stay as is.

Henderson, I don't follow UL-L football closely but I have known Troy Wingerter for a long time. How would you feel about him as a head coach?

Saunders and Stringer can recruit their dicks off. I hope that our new coach keeps Jay Johnson on as offensive coordinator, because I feel like he can help keep recruits from running away.

No, no. I love Troy but he's where he needs to be. Director of Football Operations is a good fit for him. I'd like to see him stay, but not as head coach.
