Apparently this already happened. Manny Diaz will stay if MSU offers head gig, will go to UF if they don't.

Lots of buzz around this right now...

Wonder what'll be more intense? The MSU fans on suicide watch or the Ole Piss fans dancin in the street

They'll sober up when they realize Tyrone Nix is still on the sideline.

Yeah, this is the only way you don't lose recruits. Ole Myth fans are popping corks in their red pants all over.

Hearing Malzahn is MSU's first choice and Diaz will be coming to Florida with Mullen. BG could come back to Florida with Mullen as well with the OC title.

This would be his best bet in the SEC for the next couple of years imo.

I honestly couldn't point to anything that BG has accomplished at LSU. There are rumors that he is the next OC at LSU, after Miles finds Crowton a new job.

I think he might be a good hire but people need to quit actin like he's a lock to be a good head coach, even though he is a pretty damn good head coach at Auruburn

Pretty sure this has been in the works for awhile. Meaning Mullen being notified wants Urban is done the jobs is yours kinda thing.

you're right that he may not be a good head coach but the guy has produced everywhere he's gone. he was hamstrung by nutt and still put up a solid offense. there are only a handful of coaches in the country i'd pick over him at this point.

When did I ever imply he would be good? I said this is HIS best bet to be an SEC HC.
