Would be a good move for him. He can run away from the competition again and continue to fool people into thinking he’s a good coach.

Seems like his seat at USC is warming up and could get hot if next season isn’t at least pretty good. Going to UCF could be just the off-ramp he needs.

He didn't want to be in the SEC so he bounced from OU. He thought he would be in the Pac 12 but now he finds himself in the Big Ten that's full of teams that play the brand of football that's always given him fits (think Iowa St and Utah in his old conferences). So maybe now he wants back in the Big 12 after seeing how weak-average the conference is and there aren't really any physical teams that can bully the soft finesse style of football he promotes.
Gunner Kiel has more chest than this guy. It's beyond embarrassing we lost to that guy to start the season.

Riley isn't gonna voluntarily take another job. if he has half a brain, he'll wait to get fired, as his buyout is about $90M right now
