Michael McCann Michael McCann @McCannSportsLaw Greg Schiano might have a case against the University of Tennessee after the school's courtship of him ended under pressure and possibly after signing a memorandum of understanding. My @SInow legal take:

Max Meyer @TheMaxMeyer You thought Tennessee backing out of Greg Schiano deal was the end of this saga? It may only be the beginning. @McCannSportsLaw on Schiano's case for suing the Vols.

Clay Travis @ClayTravis There are six coaches Tennessee could all hire tomorrow who are much better fits than Greg Schiano. In no particular order: Petrino, Sumlin, Leach, Kiffin, Taggart, & Norvell.

This disaster is going to cost the Vols dearly. Never mind abandoning a bona fide agreement and the hysteria that led to it, consider the outright destruction of an individual's character and livelihood.

What coaching candidate in his right mind would want any part of this roaring dumpster fire?

I'm sure there will be a lot of passing the blame around on this one but couple of UT Officials saying tonight that driving force behind GREG SCHIANO was VOLS mega booster and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam...He previously interviewed him w/Browns & supposedly pushed hard for him..

Give me a break. Society may be in the shitter but it’s not because a school had to back out of hiring a guy that was about 3 feet from a serial child rapist fiasco. There are other way more damaging issues at hand in this country. We have a childish orange painted buffoon running this country who is a narcissistic compulsive liar that attacks people daily and is trying to delegitimize free press. Schiano not getting the tenn job is not even a blip. He isn’t being imprisoned. He’s also a millionaire.

We have finally put a title XI suit behind us, why in the world are we being slated for not wanting a coach who had ties to that era of PSU, regardless of the extent that he knew?

Yes but social media has amplified this issue in the past 5 or so years. It's only going to get worse too.

To be honest, the millennials are to blame here.

They SJW so hard, yet support some pedophile.

It’s why they will keep losing in politics.

Art Stapleton @art_stapleton What transpired with Greg Schiano in Tennessee today is a frightening statement about where we are in society right now regarding what is real, what is speculative and that the our reality is that if you yell loud enough there is no difference between the two.

We are going back to mob rules and it sucks. The social media exploitation and PC culture will be the end of civilized behavior

Getief Roosen Getief Roosen @GetiefRoosen The greatest lie is that Tennessee fans actually care about the Penn St/Greg Schiano allegations. This reaction is 100% based in them being mad that a bigger name wasn’t hired. #VolTwitter #Vols
this is spot on. It’s like the Alabama senate race. People don’t give a crap about stuff like that they just use it as an excuse to get “outraged” and stop something they don’t want. It’s so messed up

It's ironic how technology has divided more than united people. I guess they united divided people in to larger groups. with custom advertising and news feeds people are able to only be fed what they want to hear 24/7.

People need to branch out from their POV to break this "being fed your own bullshite 24/7" cycle. I am not hopeful that will ever happen though. It's against human nature for people seek out ideas contrary to their own.
