Clay Travis Clay Travis @ClayTravis Congrats to Tennessee fans for torpedoing the Greg Schiano hire. Would have been a disaster. Sick of incompetent administration making idiotic hires. Many better candidates available. Zero reason to hire Schiano.

The greatest lie is that Tennessee fans actually care about the Penn St/Greg Schiano allegations. This reaction is 100% based in them being mad that a bigger name wasn’t hired.

Truth.

Give me a break. Society may be in the shitter but it’s not because a school had to back out of hiring a guy that was about 3 feet from a serial child rapist fiasco. There are other way more damaging issues at hand in this country. We have a childish orange painted buffoon running this country who is a narcissistic compulsive liar that attacks people daily and is trying to delegitimize free press. Schiano not getting the tenn job is not even a blip. He isn’t being imprisoned. He’s also a millionaire.

Gee, I wish we had a Poli Board for this shite.

Clay Travis @ClayTravis I am told that UT AD John Currie made an offer to Jeff Brohm that Brohm accepted. Currie then asked the chancellor to approve the offer — buyout included — and chancellor said no. So Currie went back to Brohm with lesser offer and Brohm said no. So here we are.

Barrett Sallee Barrett Sallee @BarrettSallee John Currie legitimately thought Greg Schiano was so good that he didn’t even consider Mike Gundy, Jeff Brohm and others before the Schiano deal fell apart. Let that sink in.

Dan Wolken Dan Wolken @DanWolken While all the talk has been Brohm, Tennessee AD John Currie has been in North Carolina interviewing multiple candidates today, Im told. Brohm wasn’t one of them.

Barrett Sallee Barrett Sallee @BarrettSallee If Tennessee signed Greg Schiano to a memorandum of understanding,

That report has been denied. All the required Tenn officials did not sign the MOU.

And Greg Schiano would never have been hired at Tampa Bay had the deposition about Sandusky not been sealed until 2016.

A bunch of Message Board brats were upset about their coaching hire so they led a phony lynch mob.

Gotta say....I wish the message board brats of the rant could've gotten LSU a different head coach.
