Tony Barnhart Says He Would Be Shocked If Bobby Petrino Coaches Again

Every SEC AD views Petrino as radioactive. He opened Arkansas up to massive legal liability. He committed a massive breach of ethics when he hired that girl then he lied about it. Said an Arkansas guy said “Tony, he just flat out lied to our faces. Repeatedly. Then acted like he didn’t care when it blew up. He never accepted any responsibility.”
Barnhart said he would be shocked if Petrino coached in college football in any capacity again. There is no road back for him.

It isn't just that. Suuposedly, Satterfield was left a ginormous mess at Louisville when he got there. Not just a lack of talent but some unethical shite that Louisville has allegedly kept on the DL. And no I don't have details.

Not a surprise. Petrino left Steve Kragthorpe a complete mess to clean up after he bolted for the Falcons. He’s a legit piece of shite human.

Well Petrino's been hired by 2 FBS schools since "breaching the trust" at Arkansas.
I would think the Louisville meltdown is why he might not coach again

Profs in colleges have been screwing coeds for 100+ years.
When they fire more than 1% of them for diddling, I'll get pissed off about Patrino (maybe).
Patrino should put an ad on Craigslist asking for Arkansas Prof/coed "love stories". And the Lefty profs are the most notorious.

Petrino's problem wasn't just banging a coed it was that he opened them to all kinds of lawsuits because he hired her to an athletic department position. He also lied about it a bunch after it happened. He's been hired twice since that scandal, it going to trash at Louisville hurts him worse than that scandal. Before he was just a scumbag, now he's a scumbag who's best days are behind him.

He doesn't need the Arkansas situation for that to be true. A fired Louisville coach isn't getting a SEC or top job.

I remember before the start of the 2018 season when Barnhart was reporting after he had spent a few days at LSU before the start of the 2018 season that in his opinion, Ed O didn't have a clue what he was doing.

But he’s gotten work since then. Petrino’s problem is he’s washed up, if he were still winning he’d still be coaching
