Minus 12 rushing yards in a half. Coach O would put his four national championship rings on one hand and punch him in the mouth before telling him to hit the road.

When did they start letting the D line coach hire the OC? That's a job for the next HC.

Are you for real...a bowl game....pride....you, no doubt, are either a marble player or chess player!! NO football player wants to lose anytime!!

i dont think hes a fraud, but i also dont think hes ready for a job like LSU. He was my number 1 choice a month ago. this is why you take your time on decisions like this.

barring an 18 point comeback (which is certainly possible) he will have lost to Navy, SMU, and UCF in a month. and the Tulsa game was tied with 1 minute to go, it could easily be 4 in a row.

hes got Louisville in 2 weeks. Memphis a week later. as of this moment, he'll probably close the season going 3-4, but could easily go 2-5.

you cant do that and then get a job like LSU. you cant go .500 in the AAC, or worse, and then get a job like LSU. you just cant.

He got there in 2015, Houston was 8-5 in 2014 and 2013, its not as if he took over some massive rebuilding project.

No. Pj Frick is a fraud.

His stock is dropping but he has accomplished a lot at many different schools. That doesnt make him a fraud. You can't blame him for his qb being picked off three times.

I really did not intend for this to veer off into a discussion of O. Let's talk about Herman. Let's judge him on his own merit.

I simply do not get the Herman hard-ons. He's average.

He's kind of like a poor man's McElwain, and McElwain was a poor man's Urban.

Really? I won't even get into Urban as that's a ludicrous comparison but let's compare McElwain and Herman-

Both won national titles as OCs under legendary HCs (Mac won 2), both went to mid-Majors (Mac went to a school that hadn't won more than 8 games in like a decade, Herman to a Houston school that was consistently a really strong mid-major), McElwain dramatically improved CSU, Herman was decent at Houston but in both of his years fell off a cliff at the mid-way point in the year.

Im still trying to figure out how he is a fraud. Did he claim he was goat or God's gift to football?

Les miles has been blamed for every single thing his players did on the field. LSU fans... Moving the goalposts and holding coaches to a different standard as usual
