you really have no clue of what he could do at a bigger university with more talent.

If Herman gets credit for what Urban Meyer did at Ohio State, should coach O get credit for what Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson did at Miami, Pete Carroll did at USC or Sean Payton had done with the Saints?

Hell, for two national titles at USC he was associate head coach, D-Line and recruiting coordinator.
I only remember one title. LSU won it in 2003. When was the other?

Herman isn't my top choice. I'm on the jimbo bus. I'm just saying that college football isn't always black and white.

He is a good mid-major coach and a good OC. Nothing more.
And you know this how? He's never been HC at a major football program.
You complaining, I thought the guy was paying him a compliment. The UCF coach just said Houston has -12 rushing yards after the end of the first half. My opinion would be quite a bit more harsh.

Honestly, i think he ends up at Texas because jimbo just seems like who we end up with based on the pieces of the puzzle.
He better try to turn things around or he will be lucky to be the coach at Houston next year, much less the Texas Longhorns.

Yes he could flop, but what makes you KNOW he will.
Maybe he watched his last three games and is watching Houston's home game against UCF today?
Me on the other hand, I have the uncanny ability to predict events as they happen.

That's kinda my point. No one knows for sure. He will get his shot to prove it though. I just doubt it will be at LSU.

It's hard to motivate a team when they know you're gone

For the sake of others here let's just refrain from running in circles again. Lol.

Oh I get it. We have to ignore 35 games of Coach Os history, but can't ignore 1 game in Hermans. Sounds fair
To be fair, this is the 4th game in a row they've laid turds. They may come back to win, but they've mustered all if 3 points and -12 yards rushing at the half against UCF. At home. Not too impressive for an offensive savant. And his team has played indisciplined, having 2 personal foul penalties that extended drives that ended in touchdown. I am not advocating for Orgeron at all, but if you still think the same of Herman today as you did weeks ago, then. I don't think you're being intellectually honest.

Isn't that what he is supposed to be doing at Houston? They guy is costing himself a lot of money right now if not a job.

I just doubt it will be at LSU.

Man, it would be a total mess at LSU if there was something as bad as rumors of a coaching change going around. I would hate to think of what could happen in that scenario.
I wouldn't even watch the Alabama game

Okay, let's talk about the Houston home game against UCF. That's current and new and this thread IS about Tom Herman.

I agree 100% with this.

Playing poorly. Hurting Herman's stock for sure.
