Would there be any interest in John Thompson as D.C. ? I believe he is a very good coach but he has really been around.

Horrid would be the best way adjective to describe a Thompson hire. The dude is a retread coordinator who is simply average. We can and should do much better.

No! Thompson had a chance in 2000 to come to LSU. Thompson choose Arkansas over LSU even after telling Saban he would come to LSU.

He also had a fallout at South Carolina with Spurrier. Don't know what happened there but he's been around a whole lot it seems.
