This was a LSU is too far away from where his family is and where they were raised. He has 6 kids and baton rouge isnt a good city to raise kids in. We probably offered him 2X what Notre Dame did, he chose to stay in his comfort zone and protect his family's best interest.

I wonder if he never wanted LSU just more money from Notre Dame.

There’s no doubt Brian Kelly is more respected as a football mind than Orgeron, so maybe he wanted LSU money but Notre Dame/Brian Kelly on the resume

Dude is a football coach. Moving and uprooting your family is part of the deal.

So I don’t buy that

Your post is dumb.

Baton Rouge is just fine to raise a kid. And he would have had his choice of high ranking private schools more than happy to have an LSU coach’s kid enrolled.

He's a year or two away from being the HC at ND once they can Louis Anderson. Smart move.

Most coaches are. Maybe he had an issue having a boss that is far less intelligent than him. Who knows?

BUT he had a competitive offer that provided him being closer to home and at a good team.

It's not like he went to the university of Indiana over LSU.

Ole cock smoker Chris landry said it’s Bc LSU is too unstable. He’s had a bone with LSU since Nick went to Miami.

Like I said in another thread, if this is only a 1 or 2 year stop, might as well stay closer to home. Regardless of what you think about Notre Dame, he'll get the same amount of exposure there.

I doubt Notre Dames offer was more than half of what LSU offered. I don’t think it was competitive at all.

We have a coach that didn’t understand that the Freeman was interviewing him more than he was interviewing Freeman.

You are correct but for the wrong reason. He used LSU tp get a bigger offer from ND, the place he wanted to go from the start.

I said this earlier. He is a midwesterner. Why move a family of 8 only to possibly move them again next year for HC job? There is someone out there who is a better fit
